Title: Design in Service of Sustainability
Location: Remote
The workshop had 30 participants attending from 13 different countries, bringing amazing energy for the exchange that combined theory and practice.
The session offered some propositions for adding Sustainability in the Design approach towards a ‘planet in mind’ service design redirection and explored how the approach can support us with the sustainability challenges that we face.
In the co-creation moment, the objective was to connect the propositions brought by the groups with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, and shape solutions that are relevant for the challenge addressed by aiming for people + planet + profit progress.

The challenge addressed was ‘How can we improve sustainability on a daily basis?’ and to work on that a session of 3 hours had:
A theoretical moment about the Design Thinking approach and the connection with Sustainability.
A Design Sprint Session for a hands-on moment to apply the knowledge. With the purpose of exploring the challenge and the co-creation of a possible solution around the sustainability aspect brought by each group.
